What is Sextrology?
Sextrology is exactly what it sounds like: sex through the lens of astrology. Truly, it is the art of unraveling one’s sexual and romantic natures: our approach to romantic and/or sexual connections, our wants and desires, what turns us on and off, the things we value, and our larger needs for sex and intimacy as a whole. We can learn about the way we express these desires, the way we express our sexuality, the must-haves and the deal breakers, as well as how to embody the energy of our astrological placements to amp up our own personal brand of magnetism.
Through studying the birth chart via the sextrology lens we can find potent magick, healing, and deeper fulfillment in ourselves, our relationships, and possibly in our lives as a whole. We can learn how to be better partners, lovers, and friends when we educate ourselves on these aspects of our loved ones, too. Remember that relationships are a two-way street (or more, if you practice any form of non-monogamy.)
How to Use This Book
This book is designed for self-knowledge and exploration. The goal of this book is to be a comprehensive, yet fun reference material that can be easily flipped through to the sections that are relevant to your personal chart. Certainly, you can read it from cover to cover if you wish, but I recommend reading through the sections that relate to your placements first, to initiate yourself into the deep dive of sexual empowerment. The book is laid out in easily identifiable sections, describing the twelve astrological signs, and all of the placements contained in a birth chart, respectively. The final portion of this book helps to tie all of the information you’ve learned together, in order to form a fluid, tangible whole. Through learning about the many different parts that make up your sexual and romantic nature, my hope is for you to leave this book feeling empowered with the tools and knowledge you need in order to start having more fulfilling connections that meet your needs, as well as your desires.
